I missed the intro, but TV Guide says it's Mark Seif and Matt Corboy. Don't know who Corboy is, but there's a certain cheese quality to the announcing. They don't have to be this punchy to make the action watchable.

I don't know which one is Mark Seif, and i've never heard of Matt corboy, but the fact that it is early, the appear to be showing every hand, and they have to deal with the fast pace of (this appears to be commented on live, which if it is, this is much more understandable) the actino, people aren't taking a long time to figure out what to do thankfully.

They keep showing a phone number. I would assume this is because they haven't decided how they are gonna edit the episodes yet so I would call in saying you want to see more hands.

I wonder if this show is a one-shot audition to get it placed on another channel. It looks like it's purely about poker, not travelling, so I doubt it's going to be on the Travel Channel, and they haven't advertised where this season will be showing.

I remember one station on the satellite previewing "High Stakes Poker" for a different station (GSN) in a continuous loop for a few days. I'd be bummed if it ends up there because I don't get that station; this isn't a bad setup.

[Edit: never mind - I saw the spot now for the Travel Channel.]

You must have missed the commercial saying that it would be airing on the Travel Channel starting this summer, after the WPT World Championship airs.
