Re: Pro Poker Tour: Sneak Preview (3/18)
I do like it, however the announcers sound like video game announcers who are only capable of saying 5 seconds of consecutive dialogue.

Re: Pro Poker Tour: Sneak Preview (3/18)
It looks decent to me. Looks like they're broadcasting the entire tournament like the WSOP ME, not just the final table like the WPT. We actually get to see some real post-flop play. The fact that there are already complaints about the announcing coming from the WPT forum is one of the most predictable responses ever. I could have guaranteed that before it ever aired.

This is a good show but i don't know who is announcing, and i really don't know why it isn't lederer or someone else who is clearly capable

Re: Pro Poker Tour: Sneak Preview (3/18)
I'm not crazy about the announcers, maybe they will grow on me, but I love the fact they're showing early action, and showing it with bet and pot sizes. Of course, the lack of constant all-ins might not have mass appeal.

Re: Pro Poker Tour: Sneak Preview (3/18)
I don't like the layout used for the show. My favorite was Season 2's layout. Also, the commentators are horrible.
(Am I a minority in that I actually like Mike Sexton and VVP?) |

[/ QUOTE ] If it was one table ala the big game then there would be the character development that is critical for a show like this to explode. Since its the middle of a tournament with lots of activity in the background I think its a failure from the entertainment perspective. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |
