Default $11 NLTRN - 25/50 blinds, facing a 1/2-pot lead bet

Poker Stars, $11 + $0.50 NL Hold'em Tournament, 25/50 Blinds

Hero (SB): 1,445
BB: 1,555

Pre-Flop: (75) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
Hero calls 25
<font color="red">BB raises to 100</font>
Hero calls 50

Flop: (200) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets 100</font>
Hero ???

I'm unsure about this hand in general. Villain started out very aggressive, almost maniacal, but seemed to cool down and get in line during level II (15/30 blinds). However, he played very aggressively postflop whenever we got there.

Do I just fold this to the min-raise preflop? That's hard because I'm pretty sure his range is fairly wide - he's done this a couple of times already when I've tried to limp with 68s-type hands, but these are the first minraises I've seen from him in the match. I should probably fold here, right?

Given that I've probably misplayed the hand preflop, what do I do on the flop? When he leads for 100 there, what do I do? Flat-calling seems not great, but then again, raising doesn't seem great either. Fold?

Fold PREFLOP, not on the FLOP!
As played, raise flop, since he was is on the agro side and play for all the chips.

Yeah, looking back at it, it seems pretty clear I should have folded preflop. Now the question is, do I fold J2s to the raise, or before the limp i.e. should I not bother limping with J2s here, despite having position?

And it's nice to have my postflop play corroborated - I raised to 350, he shoved, I called.

If you're limping J2s here it would be a crime to fold to a minraise preflop with position.

If I knew he wouldn't flat my check raise very often I think flop would be a clear raise.

Since villain is aggro, I like the flop raise. You have a ton of equity against his range and he's going to a fold a chunk of it as well.

So with approx 30BB stacks do you fold J2s preflop?

That makes it sound like it's probably not a good play.

I can see it being a clear fold at 15BB effective stacks, but it actually seems ok here, especially against this type of opponent.

I guess the main problem with it is what happens when a dry flop contains a J and you're facing aggression. But that seems like it shouldn't be too hard to get away from.

Is this thinking way off base?

No, it's fine. I don't mind a limp in an 11 if he's not raising a lot of my limps. But it's better against an opponent that lets you steal a lot of flops.
