Default preflop strat question

2nd hand you sit down at the session and your dealt KQo in the small blind. the button raises. No reads, no stats, how do you play it?

Agaisnt most people's button range i 3bet this hand but against and unknown im hesitant to get into a big pot out of position. how do people play this spot?

I only re-raise preflop if I have a read that button raises light.

I think it makes a difference if button open-raises or is raising limpers.

It's important to keep in mind that KQ is a nasty hand to get out-kicked with...

But I usually just flatcall preflop and go for a check-raise when I hit top pair.

no reads, i'll just muck it. i'm probably gonna miss the flop, and i'm not gonna wanna pull any moves against an unknown.

3betting is awkward against an unknown as well
