Default Question about on-line win rates.

What is considered an acceptable win rate at on line NL100 6 max? I am currently at 8.5 BB/100 over 40,000 hands and I know I have a lot of room for improvement. I'm just not sure what is realistic. What kinds of win rates are you achieving out there at this or similar levels?

Well, I have no idea what is "acceptable," but I would gladly take yours and run. These forums are making me sick these days. Everyone seems to be making money. Who the hell is losing, besides me? It's ridiculous. I haven't been able to win anything since starting Full Tilt in January.

I would say youre winrate is well beyond acceptable. I believe a winrate of 5 BB/100 is very good. I guess all positive winrates are acceptable ? Mine is about 3BB/100 on NL100 over 65,000 hands. I have room for a lot of improvement.

Acceptable is pretty much whatever you're comfortable with. If you're asking what's attainable, I'd say the best players could probably beat NL 100 for around 15ptbb/100.
40k hands is hardly enough to say with any certainty that you can expect to continue to win at 8.5ptbb/100, but it probably means you're still crushing the competition. You probably should start trying to move up.
