Top two blind battle
I'm new to the table and have never played with villain. He has TAG stats tho. 3bet? Call, lead turn? Call, c/r turn?

Re: Top two blind battle
I'd 3bet shove this flop. If he has 33 so be it, we're killing the lions share of his range. That said, if we call flop we're in trouble if a club comes as that makes up a large part of his range here. Thus it's dangerous to let him peel.

Re: Top two blind battle
I guess this is one of those hands where we are OOP against a good player w/ a vulnerable hand that figures to be best, but the pot is big enough to take down right now? Do we not let villain play perfectly by shoving?

Re: Top two blind battle
Flush draw is part of his range. Qx is part of his range, 46 is part of his range and 53 is part of his range.
Other than 53 (q2/q3/q4) we have to charge other hands. If he had a flush draw calling would be a sick mistake. If he has QJ/KQ then sure - it would be nice to let him bet off somemore of his stack, but we cannot pin his kicker down. If the turn is T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and he wants to play for stacks after we call his raise arent we feeling pretty stupid? I would have to be so sure opponent had Qx to cold call here, and clearly his range is wider. 4-bet. |
