NL10 - Flop top 2 and then?
This guy was seeing about 11% of flops thru 30 hands, fairly passive post-flop

Raise preflop.
Bigger raise on flop. Turn, make a real bet. River, call. Your hand looks like Jx not Tx. |

Re: NL10 - Flop top 2 and then?
So if I bet $1.50 on the turn, and he pushes, would I then give it up?

Go ahead, make fun of this trainwreck. [/ QUOTE ] Ok, if you insist. Seriously though, raise more on the flop. Bet more on the turn. Call the river. Whine and moan to some friend if he shows any hand that beats you. Seriously, don't min-raise, ever. And don't bet .40 into a $1.7 pot with a good but vulnerable hand. |

Re: NL10 - Flop top 2 and then?
I'm guessing he had AA, KK, QQ or 66 played horribly and you got stacked. Nothing you can do here. Just call and accept the loss on the like 2% of the time that it actually is a loss. You're making a bunch of money here in the long run.
And yeah, especially on the button this is an easy raise PF and the betting throughout the hand is pretty bad. |

When you make more normal sized raises then you should get a clearer idea of what it means when an opponent raises you. In the actual hand your turn bet was small and you seem scared/weak. This makes opponents consider taking shots at you and leaves you guessing. |

Re: NL10 - Flop top 2 and then?
as played river is snapcall. May want to raise more on flop to charge KQ, 89.

Re: NL10 - Flop top 2 and then?
like others said, except only JJ and 66 beat you, you have the third nuts, easy call. Raise most of the time preflop, bet a lot more on flop, bet more on trn, snap call river.
