Pretty nasty river spot with top two pair
Villain is "ninjia3x," I've logged a fair amount of hands with him. He probably views me as 21/18 ish, he is a bit looser probably 25/20 or something. We have a decent amount of history, nothing crazy though, just some 3betting/4betting wars, and I've played pretty aggressively against him in general.
Anyways, turn was a little tricky, wasn't sure if going for a turn c/r was better than leading, or if maybe c/c again was reasonable. The river is a pretty crappy spot though, he can't really put me on a bluff given the way the hand played out, so I'm not sure if betting gets called by worse much. If I check though he is probably checking anything I beat behind and betting anything better, and unless he has specifically clubs I don't see what he can bluff with. So with that said, what's your river plan? Specifically betting amounts (if you choose to bet), or plans when faced with various bet sizes if we check. Also thoughts on the turn play as well would be appreciated. Re: Pretty nasty river spot with top two pair
I would bet $136 for a couple of reasons. He's not going to bluff you often after you halfpot it with only $150ish behind where he could be interested in shoving the river if you check. The other reason being a halfpot river gets looked up with a wide range, especially since he called a large turn. By betting $136 you get value and can still fold if he shoves which he won't without a jack most likely.

Even if he had clubs it's pretty likely he has 2 pair or the straight. check it and fold.

Re: Pretty nasty river spot with top two pair
i always just bet something dumb like 111. he's going to have showdown value here at the very least and be reluctant to turn his hand into a bluff when he can call getting such good pot odds
