Default Video conversion issues

This is probably the wrong forum, but I know a lot of you guys have recorded videos so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Dear 2+2 members, I am having serious trouble with video conversion. I am trying to convert AVI videos to WMV/FLV, but when I convert the audio gets out of sync on my longer videos. Can anyone help me convert the videos so that the audio matches up with the video or tell me what I might be doing wrong? Thank you so much.

Default Re: Video conversion issues

Presuming it is in sync to begin with:

split (de-mux) the audio / video streams / transcode the video alone / re-mux the streams (timestrech / resample the audio to match recoded video (m)seconds if required)

Virtualdub is a awesomely useful tool.

Best of luck,

dave.
