Default PLO25 Hand review

Hi guys, I am new to the forum and to Omaha (I only started playing a couple of months ago).

Is this play too risky or just bad on my part?


Omaha Hi $0.25-$0.25 PL (real money)

Seat 2: Player2 ($6.50 in chips)
Seat 3: Player3 ($58.05 in chips)
Seat 4: Player4 ($23.25 in chips)
Seat 5: Button ($6.70 in chips)
Seat 6: Small Blind ($48.60 in chips)
Seat 7: Big Blind ($25.95 in chips)
Seat 8: UTG ($19.75 in chips)
Seat 9: UTG+1 ($15.00 in chips)
Seat 10: Hero [ AH,10S,5H,KC ] ($29.75 in chips)
ANTES/BLINDS
Small Blind posts blind ($0.25), Big Blind posts blind ($0.25), UTG+1 posts blind ($0.25).

PRE-FLOP
UTG folds, UTG+1 checks, Hero calls $0.25, Player2 folds, Player3 bets $1, Player4 calls $1, Button folds, Small Blind calls $0.75, Big Blind folds, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls $0.75.

FLOP [board cards 8S,10C,KD ]
Small Blind checks, Hero checks, Player3 bets $2, Player4 folds, Small Blind folds, Hero bets $10.50, Player3 calls $8.50.

TURN [board cards 8S,10C,KD,4H ]
Hero bets $18.25 and is all-in, Player3 calls $18.25.

RIVER [board cards 8S,10C,KD,4H,9C ]

SHOWDOWN

in general i see no prob with the way you played it, pre-flop call is fine.. On the flop i generally take a slightly differnt line with only top two on this fairly co-ordinated board, i'd prob just call, and shove on the safeish turn card. Given that you have no reads on the player and the nature of the flop, it is far more likly he is on a draw then a set so there is nothing wrong with your play! i guess bad luck on the river, but the results shouldnt bother you, i dont mind your play at all

Villains turn call is really not that bad. The entire hand is standard imo. Villains call would be worse if the board wasn't rainbow.
