villian is a regular who i used to play with daily on party poker...he is not a fish, so not an obvious call...i think he knows the brevity of the river allin and is not a bluff EVER in this spot

this was so so hard...i thought a 10 was v v unlikey, more scared of backdoor flush..what do u guys think?

You're getting 2 to 1 and you only beat a bluff. Without a specific read you can fold here without hesitation. I think villain has flush or AT 80+% of the time here.
Also, how is the river brief, or did you mean gravity, not brevity, Cheers, Mahogany17

If Villain knows you, and knows the situation on the river, and this is never a bluff, this is seemingly a very simple decision, wouldn't you say? If he's never bluffing here, how can we be good? He's not valueshoving two pair hands, and he doesn't play a set like this IMO.

The way this hand played out, with you C/C'ing the flop, and a free turn, makes it way too easy for him to have a BD flush, or Tx. JT, AhJh, any number of TdXd combos, etc, are all reasonable hands that have us crushed here. Let it go.
