[ QUOTE ]
Why are we still talking about KG and Gasol? Both those opportunities were missed. They are 100% not getting KG, and it looks like Memphis is building around/keeping Gasol. You keep talking about prefering other options, when there really isn't a lot out there. Its also important to note that the Bulls are willing to give up more (according to reports) than what they offered/talked about in regards to Gasol and KG. So it seems as if the Bulls regard Kobe as a better fit than the before mentioned players. [/ QUOTE ] LOL. You believe all these media reports? Wow. Your're right, Gasol is probably a longshot now. And missing out on KG was awful. But Brand and Marion are still available. |

He said the same about Jalen Rose and shipped his ass out. Also, when did you become an admin or whatever? |

[ QUOTE ]
LOL. You believe all these media reports? Wow. [/ QUOTE ] So what are you implying? That the Bulls didn't have discussions with Memphis and Minny? Its a fact that they talked to these teams about Gasol and KG. The reason the deals didn't go threw? Hmm, lets use common sense, I know I know, you don't have any, but lets pretend you are a rationale sports fan. The Grizzlies and the TWolves would not have turned down the group of players that the Bulls have offered LA. So this level of reasoning implies that the Bulls didn't offer the TWolves or Memphis a package of this level when they were shopping them. Using some more common sense we can come to the conclusion that because the Bulls didn't offer this good of a package, they value Kobe more than KG and Pau. Obviously there are other factors involved, but going "lol you listen to media" is about as retarded as you can get. Anyone who follows the NBA, and reads columns from respected NBA guys realizes that there was interest last year in Gasol and KG, but the Bulls refused to part with Heinrich and Deng, two players who reportedly have already been offered (not together, but both were on the table) along with other young talented players. [ QUOTE ] And missing out on KG was awful. But Brand and Marion are still available. [/ QUOTE ] Trading for Marion would be an AWFUL idea, you seem to be the only one on the planet who cannot fathom this. Giving up young assets, and picking up Brand's max deal would also be a bad move since he currently has one working knee and is expected to miss the season. I know this is a lot of rationale and common sense for you to take in, I hope you at least got some of it, but I'm sure you didn't. |

Kobe's got problems, he just doesn't get it. He is so dominant on the physical plane, that he doesn't see the music, the jazz, that is basketball. Phil will tell you straight up, he is selfish. He conflicts with Phil's zen approach.
Just a few days ago, Phil's is like, I want this resolved, the team can tell that Kobe's heart is not in it, and the team is suffering. Kobe is like, hey man, I am the last dude they need to worry about, I will produce and give it my all like I always do. Can't argue Kobe, you will. You're the master of the physical plane. But Phil was at Woodstock before you were a glimmer in Jelly Beans eye, was a top hoops prospect, spent a year in traction, learned to think about the game, 1970's New York Knicks, CBA coach of the year, he's 62 and has 9 rings, and you aged him 20 years in 5. He might know something about basketball, but you will never hear it. No ill will for Kobe anymore, I am not like that anymore. I am happy for his successes, and compassion for his suffering. |

Hahaha, Heinreich.
"If Kobe would have been smart, he would have mended those fences with Shaquille...and we wouldn't be in this position. Now, four years later, he understands that he can't do it by himself. Now he's blaming the organization, and some of that blame should be on him and some on the organization." Magic Johnson > Kobe. |

Hahaha, Heinreich. [/ QUOTE ] Out of a 6 paragraph post you feel that the most important part is that I didn't spell the name of a player on a team I don't root for correctly. Congrats. |

No, that's the funniest part. The most entertaining part. Everything else you said is irrelevant to me and I don't care about it. Heinreich though, that's good stuff.
