NL50: QQ facing 4th raise pf
First day moving back up to NL50. One of my goals this month is not to puss out.
The first guy who min raised pf and then made the 4th raise was 26/15/1.3 and the villain that 3 bet it and then folded was 23/13/2.6. I dont have much knowledge of either villain as I just sat down and the stats are from datamining. Once facing the 4th raise, is this a fold or is it just a push? Is folding too nitty and calling/raising too spewy? Was my raise appropriate? Re: NL50: QQ facing 4th raise pf
Eh it's prolly slightly -EV to push unless you've seen him do crazy stuff like this before.

I think this is a fold unless you have a better read.

Re: NL50: QQ facing 4th raise pf
I've had this problem as well with QQ against aggrodonks. The best you could really hope for is around 40% equity, with a really accurate read this could be an ok call, but I think you are further behind than that here so fold. I actually think it was a mistake for you to raise, your bet is actually a 4-bet and QQ is a bit weak for that.
I'm now rarely 3betting with QQ, in this spot I'd rather have a suited ace or a total bluff. I would just call for set value, if you hit you are pretty much guaranteed at least one stack, obviously fold to any further raise from utg+1. Depending on how I felt about it, I might then stack off if the flop is low but more likely I am folding. Nice to see you back at NL50! |
