Re: 50NL: 55
Eh I doubt he calls another bet with a hand you beat and I don't think the J is a good card to try and get him off his hand with. I vote check behind.

Re: 50NL: 55
I think raising pre-flop is a much worse alternative to limping preflop. This isn't a tournament, we don't need to push our equity against two overs right now. We want a multi-way pot to hit a set and stack somebody... or a pot that we're not attached to and can easily get away from if we miss.
He could have something, or he could be a passive out of position retard [incorrectly] chasing the flop and the turn with big overs. As played, I like firing the flop and turn. I agree with moose that no losing hand calls you on the river, so betting doesn't have much value. Check behind on the river. |

[/ QUOTE ] Open-raising a SMALL pocket pair 100 BB deep from MP in a ring game is DEFINITELY better than limping? I'll just have to agree to disagree. |

Re: 50NL: 55
Definite check behind situation. I would expect to see a missed draw, missed overs, alot here. No value in betting the river as no less hands call you.
As far as raising preflop here...its not mandatory, but I like to open raise here..It depends alot on who's behind you, your image, etc. Blanket statements pro and con are meaningless without alot more informaton. In EP, its a definite limp. |

Re: 50NL: 55
Def check behind as played, for reasons already stated.
Curious why you 2nd barreled the 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] turn. Any reads against this guy, or is this pretty typical for you with most opponents given your image? |
