While very few of his points have been closer to the truth, being female as well, all I can do is sit back and shake my head and wonder "Where do these guys get this stuff???"

Because apparently they know more than we do about ourselves LOL.

not only is it obvious that you know less than we do about females, but you obv have never encountered the male ego up close and personal

I don't really buy it, but it's a perfectly reasonable argument to say that men know women better than women know women. A lot of women are under the impression that they know men better than men know men, it's the same thing.

I have never met you so obviously I can't know more about you then you know about yourself. That being said I'd like to make the following clarification. Women are not a homogeneous group I'm talking about a very specific subset of female. Nothing I have said will work on a hippie, a goth, a homebody / shy type girl etc. I'm talking simply about girls 21-25 who care about status, fashion, glamour etc. The type that watch celeb gossib shows and want that life but lack the financial means to achieve it themselves. This happens to be a very decent percentage of the 21-25 year olds and an even higher percentage of the really attractive 21-25 year olds.

Would extenuating factors never influence your willingness to be the other man? E.g., she's married, she's drunk, has kids, would probably regret it later, etc.?

[/ QUOTE ]

Drunk is out just because it is predator behaviour. First time at least. After the first time drunk would be fine.

Married itself wouldn't bother me but marriage and being older is highly correlated so the age would probably be a bigger deterrent. Kids same reason. Not to mention kids are massive black-holes that suck the fun out of everything. Also, while there are exceptions, usually women with kids have too many demands on their time to maintain physical attractiveness.

Anyone get the impression Henry is sickly good looking?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, very possibly. Which is kind of evidence of my point - very attractive people have problems seeing reality clearly, because the feedback they get from other people is skewed.

Guys, on the other hand, date varieties of girls. And thus, if they are diligent and observant, will probably know what a girl wants more than you do.

[/ QUOTE ]

There's a good nugget of truth there. But frankly, I think neither most men NOR most women know very well what most other men or women want. One reason is the huge variation in personality types. Another reason is that human psychology is just plain tough, tricky stuff.
