GL to me
First basketball open gym in three years. I am a senior in HS and haven't played since 8th grade. I am the ONLY new kid playing and tryouts are next week. Today is ONLY conditioning. I hope I am in better shape than I think.

Well, I am alive. We ran more than they said they did at any open gym all summer and this school year. At least 60 full court sprints. 12 different drills that were all running, sliding and whatnot. I was the only one who had to walk, but I haven't run like that in almost 4 years. I didn't quit though. I was pretty rough shooting wise too, probably because I was a little nervous. But I went and did it all. Now Monday I do it again. Two more open gyms then three days of tryouts. Tryouts are essentially only running for 2 hours. Good luck to me, really I need it. If I make it I will post the team pic. I don't know why I posted this here to begin with, but I did so I am going with it.

To clarify I had to walk in between, I was running. Your probably get the impression that I am short and overweight, but in reality I am 6' 4"-150...

6'4" and 150 lbs is borderline unhealthy IMO. Eat please. edit: If you're a senior in high school, get to like 220 and beast the paint, easily done being 6'4" in HS. |
