Help modding Party tables
Hi there,
I've started to play on Party again, but just cant stand all those chairs cluttering up the screen. I don't want a totally anonymous layout though. All I really want is to just get rid of the chairs! Does anyone know of a way I can do this? I've tried deleting the chair images from the folder, but obviously that did'nt work. I'd really appreciate and help/advice on this. Thanks. |

Re: Help modding Party tables
you should really try using Google (party poker mods), even if it is a bit over your head.

Re: Help modding Party tables
Yes I've seen those mods, thanks.
I'm looking to mad the tables myself. I'm looking for a way to mod the tables myself. I really want to keep it looking the same, just without the chairs. |

Re: Help modding Party tables
I dont mod party, but my suggestion would be:
Download a similar mod - and see what they did, to get rid of the seats, etc? Its simply a matter of browsing the images/files in their mod, and comparing it to the default graphics. If they use .DAT files, it is a bit more complicated. Obviously you may need some Photoshop skills as well. |

[/ QUOTE ] Load the chair image files into a paint package and re-size them to a single pixel (which fits with the colour of your mod). I use the "MultiGrey" mod which has no chairs, but I still do this to the chair graphics as it seems to make Party's rendering engine do less work for re-sized tables and possibly causes less chugs when 12-tabling. Re: Help modding Party tables
Yeah, trying that at the momment.
It seems that each chair has its own image, that is must fit exactly in same place over the original table image. So I'm guessing all I have to do is cut up the original Party table image into smaller pieces. The problem is figuring out how to cut it so each piece would overlay in the right place. anyone know an easy way of doing this? |

Re: Help modding Party tables
thanks Juko,
I resized each of the chair images to one pixel and that got rid of them all! ... so much better now |
