You have to ask yourself would you ever play AA, AK, AQ or KK like this? Most thinking players would assume you'd bet the flop with a made hand because of the potential draws. I'd give up on the river since he called your turn bet. The board texture doesn't change with the blank K on the river. I'd expect to get called by an Ace. What happened, did he have AQ?
