Re: 22+R AA hand--check behind?
I'd bet here, give him a chance to bluff shove or whatever. You may check yourself into a mess, or at the very least the board may get scary enough that you don't get action from hands that may have given you some on the flop.

Re: 22+R AA hand--check behind?
1st hand I'd shove preflop - with your low M it will be seen as a restealer and from an UTG raise you will get a call most often.
Hand 2 is read dependent. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yep, especially since you recently shoved over his raise just two hands ago, I'd shove AA too. Chances are he's getting tired of you owning him and decides to call. A smaller re-raise, and even your cold-call, will only raise suspicions... |

Re: 22+R AA hand--check behind?
Hand 2 is standard.
Given hand 2, I like just shoving preflop. However cold calling is fine & probably what I'd do totally readless if I'd been just moved to a table, say. On the flop obviously we're never folding ever. The question is is checking to let him catch up/bluff with e.g. KQ or betting now so he's happy to stack off with e.g. 88 when he wouldn't be if scarier cards come. I guess I just stick a bet of ~18K which enables him to CRAI with "fold equity" |

I love the shove with the AA for all the same reasons...
