Pretty solid interview imo. Good to see him getting exposure to the average person who doesn't watch a ton of news.

Besides being annoying, I think his supporters in the audience are doing him a disservice by cutting into his time by applauding every line.

Huh? That was a pretty standard level of applause.

Yeah, it was, but I'm saying that standard isn't optimal.

About how well Paul did, that's pretty standard as well. Leno is much more of a softball interview than anyone would get on Fox News or in the MSM from someone like Russert. That's why celebrities and Politicians like to come on his show.

I was very shocked by the support in the audience. When he was on the Daily Show, he was constantly getting booed. Interview went very well, props to Leno for not being a dick about it.

iron81,

There appears to be some sand in your vagina.

I thought he started off a tad rough; kind of wedged in that first comment about hard money in an incomplete way that made it look non sequitor to Jay's question. It wasn't, as it was the issue of inflation and hard money that got Dr. Paul to run for office, which was Jay's question, but he didn't tie it together.

After that he visibly relaxed and did a fantastic job. Just brilliant. And yes, he mentioned Austrian economics. Awesome.

Had a lot of great lines and a reasonable answer for every doubt Jay expressed.

You rock, Dr. Paul!

LOL at Sex Pistols doing Anarchy in the UK.

Think that is the first time I have ever seen anyone be exited about a school of economic thought being mentioned on TV.
