As you can see this is not a recent hand, but an interesting (imo) one. Villain is a 22/16 pretty standard TAG, i'm more of a nittish 19/15 one. I tend to bluff and make all kinds of moves a lot more than the average nit, but i'm pretty sure the villain doesn't know it.

Some of my thoughts on this:
FLOP: I've got top pair but no spade and 3 of them on the board, don't really like to see a check-raise here (which i think i'm gonna see a fair amount of time) so i'll just check it behind - bit of mixing too.

TURN: Villain bets. Feels a bit like a big spade semibluff so I'll just call and call the blank (no spade) river also if he doesn't overbet too much. Could have raised too, but i think calling is okay.

River: Villain checks and the pot is small. I can't really see him leading me and i'll just put a little teaser on and see if he catches it with something average. My hand is very much disguised. Interestingly enough I get raised pretty big!?? Wtf? I seem really weak with my bets here so I put him on an induced river bluff and call. Am I a big fish???

Yea, I'd call too given the way this played out.

by checking the flop, i think a check behind on the river is a better play. betting the 5 seems pretty bad.

Yep, villain had 88 here and started berating me really hard afterwards. It really felt like a clear call to me, although i didn't have a read on him.

The 36$ river bet was a bit fishy yes, don't clearly know why i bet just that amount, think 50$ would be best. But I do think that's a spot to valuebet still.
