Re: ATo in the CO.
i might limp in preflop (or fold if i were in tight mode) but the rest of the hand looks great to me. do we think utg has a flush though? you wouldn't think he'd put in extra bets on the turn if he were still drawing. so, if we trust that read, is a river raise spewing? i think i would probably just call...

Re: ATo in the CO.
Without any reads it looks as though the turn has improved UTG to a straight or full house.
UTG could also be bluffing. You have outs to a full house (or quads) yourself on the turn and I think that you definitely want to see a showdown. So without any reads, I would call the turn check raise and call the river bet. |

I like every street, including preflop.

Re: ATo in the CO.
The only made straight possible on the turn is 32. So a straight is really
unlikely. A full house...if he had limped 55 or 44 which is reasonable..but why the stop and go, then? I guess I agree with Fantam but I bet a lot of the time, you are kicking yourself for not raising the river.... |

Re: ATo in the CO.
Thinking about this hand a bit more, a lot of players do seem to like limping in from any position with Ax.
Also a lot of players like to wait until the turn to raise with trips. With that in mind, I like OP's 3-bet on the turn a lot more. When villain donks again on the river, it probably is time to slow down though and just call. |
