Outcome: SB wins $6.48

SB is 21/4/1.50 after 48 hands.

Villain raises very rarely and that's why I just called with my AK. I guess I should have checked the flop instead of betting because there wasn't that much folding equity, was there?

are you asking if you should have made your continuation bet here after being checked to? Yes. Sorry SB had JJ.

Yeah 4% PFR is tight, and he's 3betting so even tighter. Preflop I'd guess we're looking at a range of QQ+, AK. Versus that range AKo has 40% equity (20% of which is ties). I'm considering a fold there because he will also have initiative when we both miss and there's no way we can call.

On to the flop, have you ever seen him check a flop after a PFR? It is really suspicious. I would check the flop without a read.

he doesn't look that aggressive postflop (period). Keep in mind that we're on the button, so to him this may appear to be a steal raise, and he may open up his range.

48 hands is not enough to say he's a nit, but if you really think so w/e. def check behind flop though
