Re: Brian Townsend interviews Doyle Brunson
[ QUOTE ]
Formatting an online article like a print mag with columns that don't make sense bugs me, but the interview was interesting. [/ QUOTE ] QFT. Columns implies top->bottom, rinse/repeat. Horizontal rules would have made their layout choices a lot easier to follow. |

[ QUOTE ]
good read. also interestingly he busted to ZeeJustin in WSOPe, and he said he viewed the 'kid' as a 'liberal player' who played 510 os very fast and aggressive earlier in the tourney. so, doyle thought zj would be a good spot for a double up. im not one to question sir doyle, but this must of been a bad read on his part. zj is a very talented thinking player. [/ QUOTE ] If you see someone make a crazy play when you first start playing with them, good poker sense should make you think that the player is a donk. Obviously DB didn't know that ZJ actually IS a solid player, so he (DB) just went with the information he already had. [ QUOTE ] honour? wtf [/ QUOTE ] lol Europeans. [ QUOTE ] Formatting an online article like a print mag with columns that don't make sense bugs me, but the interview was interesting. [/ QUOTE ] Doesn't look like it was formatted for online viewing at all except for a resize (which, IMO, is probably why the images look a little weird). On the top it says the interview was made for WPT Magazine. |

[/ QUOTE ] good point. i didn't see the hand, but i doubt ZJ was a 'donk'. even if he did get caught in that hand, you probably got to give zj credit for pulling a move. hes a great player and i just think doyle in his old age did not have a 'game recognize game' moment. lol. |

Re: Brian Townsend interviews Doyle Brunson
I disagree... when a great player sees another player who is unknown fire a triple barrel bluff or whatever with T5o, the VAST majority of the time that unknown is simply a terrible aggro donk.

Formatting an online article like a print mag with columns that don't make sense bugs me, but the interview was interesting. [/ QUOTE ] That because the source is a print article in the WPT mag and those are the pics we were given, not much we could do about the graininess. |
