I know this looks super aggro, but I knew this guy had AK. Thinking back, I could have shut down on the turn, but there was quite a bit of money in this pot and I figured that if he had AK he would fold to a turn bet. Maybe it was a bad spot for a bluff, but I put him on AK all the way and I stuck with my read. He just got very lucky. But, then again, I probably should have gave up on the hand becasue of exactly what happened. People at these limits can't lay down a hand when they are supposed to.

If you're committed to trying this bluff I'd push the turn. You don't have enough money left over to credibly bet the turn and river.

1. Don't bluff calling stations.
2. The river shove is so bad. After he calls the turn, he's not folding anything here for 1/3 the pot on that card.
3. Please use a hand converter like the one at www.flopturnriver.com.
4. Don't bluff calling stations. Ever.
5. Pretty much don't bluff at 25NL at all (except when c-betting).

yah I thought about shoving the turn right after the hand was done. and yes, the river bet was desperation, but I figured it was my only chance at winning the hand. do you think betting the turn was a mistake all together?

Once he calls the big flop raise, I'd be wary of firing again. That kind of call looks like tentative commitment.
