[/ QUOTE ] I think that's just a cultural thing - apparently it happens a lot in China too. I also hear stuff like nobody will let you out in traffic in Japan unless you manage to make eye contact with them (so that they are forced to acknowledge you're a real person, not an obstacle). It's not a cultural thing in the US though |
