Weird Router Problem

On the machines that have lost internet, can you go through the net troubleshooting steps in the FAQ and see how disconnected they actually are?

from what I can tell, the lights still blink on the router and modem as normal. I havent checked the back of the machine when I am connected to the lan to see what it is doing, but the message is that I am connected to the router but the internet cannot be found. I need to power the modem and router on and off to recover. I will checkout the FAQ steps.

can't even log on to the router when it happens, I bought a new WRT54G and it all works fine.
