[20NL] turn action
First hand on table, no reads on villain.
After he called flop, I put him on a straight/flush draw. Should I bet this turn when the flush draw comes in or check behind and stack him when I improve to a FH (that's if he indeed has the flush ofcourse). Prima Network No-Limit Hold'em, $0.20 BB (6 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com SB ($53.32) BB ($3.48) UTG ($21.31) MP ($38.68) Hero ($19.70) Button ($23.96) Preflop: Hero is CO with 8[[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]], 8[[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]]. 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.8, 1 fold, SB calls $0.70, 1 fold. Flop: ($1.80) K[[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]], J[[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]], 8[[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] (2 players) SB bets $0.9, Hero raises to $3, SB calls $2.10. Re: [20NL] turn action
Just because the flush is possible, doesn't mean it's is only possible holding. He may have TPTK, 2 pair. I think you can still get value from these worse holdings, so I bet.

Re: [20NL] turn action
yea I believe you have to bet here, maybe fold to a push. but it would be a tough decision, he could have 2 pair/tptk, AJ, etc

Re: [20NL] turn action
I like a little more than a half pot bet here, then fold river if he bets out. I think by checking behind on turn, you will get bet into by any K, J or middle pp if a heart doesnt come on the river. Of course, you could also check/call a resonable bet on the river. If a heart does come and doesnt pair the board, I think it's a pretty easy fold with river aggression.
Edited to add: Actually, a half-potish bet here might look week, maybe 2/3 is better. |
