My feelings are hurt.

Just so you all know, I insta-called this. I just remember reading a post a few days ago where everything but AA-KK was a -EV call. I thought this could be a similar situation but I guess not.

Here is the time when you fold KK/AA

CO (t8000)
Button (t8000)
SB (t4000)
Hero (t10)

Co raises to 8000, Button Calls, SB whatever, Hero has AA

The reason why you fold AA/KK here is because tripling up does not improve your chip position at all. If you triple up you get a whole 30 chips. If you lose you are out in 4th. Either the CO or Button is going to be eliminated (with the exception of a very slim chance of a tie)

Conditions to fold KK/AA late in the game:
1) Doubling/Tripling/whatever has virtually 0 effect on where you are going to place ie doubling/tripling does not improve your chances of moving up in the money.
2) Someone is guaranteed to be eliminated this hand (barring ties)
3) This elimination guarantees you moving up in the money.(4th to 3rd, 5th to 3rd, 3rd to 2nd, whatever)

I've played a lot of tournaments. I've never been in a position where all three have come true.

No way you are folding KK here. BB is alreaday 600 and if SB doubles up you becomes the shortie. SB has to beat you AND CO for you to go busto.(That's what happened, right? lol)

Don't even think it. Glad you insta-shoved, perfect play, poor results. Like that hasn't happened 3298656237462896 times to most of us.

Deuce2High isn't gay he's just "sensitive".

Slacker, you're missing a good weekend in LA. Not sure if you heard, but cleinen is bringing spicy wisconsin cheese and deer sausage.

Yah, I heard. Sucks that my wonderfully handsome voice/looks and entertaining demeanor are sorely needed (and extremely well compensated) at an NCAA basketball venue.

Sadly, I'll miss you all, but not as much as missing all of the Men's Bball action this weekend.

Have lots of giggles with Cleinen's sausage!

I hear that Deuce2High is "sensitive". Slacka
