Default Top-pair vs. scary board. Worth seeing a showdown?

How was my play from the turn on? Small blind plays passively until the scary turn card hits. With top pair good kicker is it worth it to call it down to the river based on pot odds and lots of donks at this low limit or with that scary card and 3 other players is it a fold?

I like the way you played it. I'd consider making it a full bet on the river, though. SB's donk might mean that he hit the 9 on the turn (or is betting scare card), but the fact that nobody else seemed to show any interest over it and are still calling (rather than raising) makes me think that you're still likely ahead of them. May as well get some money in the side pot.

SB could easly have an A or a FD so foldingin this big pot is out of the question. You shouldn't even be thinking about it. Calling is not the best play either. SB is going all in no matter what. Raise the turn and collect 2 extra bb from UTG and MP2, who are very likely behind.

Also, is there a way I could or should post this so that it isn't so obvious that I lost or is basically telling everyone the result not really related to the analysis?

Next time dont put "Worth seeing a showdown ?" in your title, stop the action when it is you to act on the turn and put Hero...?

But, in a hand like this one you should mention that the SB was shortstacked.

I would also have raised the turn to build a side pot and led the river.

grunch

With sb stacking off I would raise the turn. If he has a 9 I want to make as much from the other players in the side pot as possible

Do you put UTG on 97s and MP2 on 67o? Well I guess this is 0.1/0.2...
