Default NPTK facing weird bet

No real reads on villian... except when i stacked one guy he made a smartass comment towards villian. (if that counts)
I really dont like this bet, I feel like hes chasing a flush, and he misses his flush so he makes this donk bet on the river to make up for it.
obv calling is out of the question.
would a re-steal be okay here?

One reason why I think hes bluffing the river is that, i have played villians line verbatum with air before

NPTK*

this looks like such a blocking bet. that said, he probably would fold to a raise. id make it 66 if i decided to raise, but i would wait till i had a better read.

typically, yes.

he prolly has some crappy pair hand so calling would be bad.

You feel like he's chasing a flush, and you have a hand that beats most flush draws, yet calling is out of the question?

Why?

becasue any small pair beats me? I feel like if he has a small pair, then a push on the river will make him fold that. maybe im wrong here, where are you getting at cue-ball?

a small pair would fold, but its a risky play as he could have a strong hand. that is why i recommended having at least a decent read before shoving in a stack.

If he has a flush draw it's unlikely he has a pair aswell. Monsters are in his range too (obv reads would be helpful here)...some donks love to play a flopped straight/set like this.

You're raising solely to push him off small pairs. I don't know that they make up that big a part of his range. I don't think a call is terrible.
