Default pot odds in split pot games

i have in recent days decided to make L08 poker a real pursuit. my question is when drawing for half of the pot, which i realize is rarely a good idea what is the process. it seems like you would just cut the pot in half but that doesnt seem quite right. please give me a hand thanks

It seems pretty easy:
Pot equity is:
Sum of (fraction of the pot * chance that you'll get that fraction)

Just remember that you'll be looking at full cost to stay in as well.

He's probably figuring in the chance of getting quartered, so reducing the "true" pot odds by 25%
