Re: J765 in CO
[ QUOTE ]
If you put him on AAXX, you are probably going to be at best 50/50 to win this hand. Pushing is not good here on this flop. [/ QUOTE ] what? |

Re: J765 in CO
While I wouldn't raise this hand after a limper, flop is fine.

If you put villain on a high pocket pair (say AAXX), you have less than 50% equity on the flop (possibly much worse). If hero was going to the felt on this flop, why not just bet out? At least this way there will be some fold equity. Once hero checks, villain will bet out and there will be little fold equity at this point (against most villains). As for my previous comments, I think I misread the size of the pot on the flop. There is 650 on the flop and 1600 left to go. If he are going to play this hand on the flop, he is probably pot committed getting 2250:1600. |

Re: J765 in CO
I have thought some more on this hand and def think the only thing I can/should do different is calling the additional 210 but I think that thats very close. more (constructive) comments are very welcome.

Re: J765 in CO
I don't see the point in raising. Let him raise, then limp if you want to. IMO, this is a horrible starting hand if you don't hit the flop with low cards.
