Im still shocked @ BC not being #1. OSU's 2 best games are against a #23 Purdue team and a #25 PSU. BC beat a then ranked #15 Gtech in ATL and beat a top ten VT team @ tech. BC is winning games and yet some of you guys give teams like Florida and Auburn props for moral victories. [/ QUOTE ] Applachian State beat a then #5 Michigan on the road, let's give them some votes!!!! BC hasn't dominated it's mediocre schedule to the extent OSU has. If one of the other unbeatens gets to leapfrog OSU it should be ASU, not BC. By the way, not only is the Purdue win more impressive than the GT win, the Penn State win is more impressive than the Virginia Tech win. VT was terrifically overrated to be at 8. |

Re: WOW! No Official Ranking Thread. I Will Start One
I don't see how Oregon shouldn't be the highest ranked 1loss team right now. What is the argument for putting Oklahoma ahead of them anyway? Seems borderline retarded IMO.

In this thread it seems like people rank teams in their poll based on how the teams are playing right now. i.e. #12 would beat #15 and so on. So if a team like GTech was playing like the #15 team when they played, why does BC not get shown love for this? [/ QUOTE ] This is so god damn stupid. |

Re: WOW! No Official Ranking Thread. I Will Start One
1. OSU (Impressive win, starting to win me over.)
2. BC (Not sold, but did win on the road vs toughest opponent they play this season) 3. LSU (Most talented team in the country, ) 4. Oregon (Rising fast, I expect them to play for the title) 5. ASU (Good win, don't see them beating Oregon) 6 OU (Fading, but would be surprised if they didn't win out) 7. WV (Impressive road win, ALOT needs to happen for them to make title game) 8. Kansas (we'll see...) 9. Missouri (Shocked Big 12 has 3 top ten teams) 10. UGA (Not many great options at 10, not going to put a 2 loss team coming off a loss ahead of them. Big win for them in Jax) |

If BC wins out and LSU wins out (including the SEC championship game) and BC gets the National Championship game... I might go on life tilt.

[/ QUOTE ] I am currently on fuming life tilt over this BC crap. After they play like pure garbage for 57 minutes against a team ranked 108 in total offense, and that is usually with a decent QB instead of the worthless sack VT trotted out there Thursday, they win because of awful time management, one drive against a prevent, one luckboxed onside kick that bounced right off of a Tech player, then one luckbox 3rd and 20 bomb when there should have been another holding call. WOW WHAT A TEAM. And everyone is now like "ooh BC stated their case on Thursday!" Yeah, if their case is "we absolutely suck and are slow." 1. Ohio State 2. Oregon 3. LSU 4. Arizona State 5. Oklahoma 6. Kansas 7. Boston College 8. West Virginia 9. Missouri 10. Georgia I have BC 6th due to being unbeaten, and not playing total jokes like Hawaii, but here is a list of teams I would take over BC pick'em at a neutral field: Oregon, Arizona State, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, West Virginia, LSU, Florida, Auburn, Georgia, Virginia Tech (w/Tyrod Taylor) |
