Re: Your all time favourite WWE/Pro Wrestling moment
[ QUOTE ]
Speaking of Sherri, my favorite remains to this day Savage/Warrior WM7 retirement match. I was (and still am) a huge Savage mark and that match with the followup angle afterwards was awesome and still has staying power some 16 years later. If only they had the writing creativity to pull something off like that today. [/ QUOTE ] Come on...you can't say this and then not give us details as to what happened! -106,011 and counting |

Re: Your all time favourite WWE/Pro Wrestling moment
at the risk of being flamed, GOLDBERG. All of it
If I had to pick one match, it's the goldberg vs DDP match WCW -Halloween Havoc 1998 - Goldberg VS DDP Not going to read any posts after this since I remember from previous threads goldberg is not the most favourite here. so be it, I still love him. |

Re: Your all time favourite WWE/Pro Wrestling moment
[ QUOTE ]
My all-time favorite is Goldberg spearing Hollywood Hogan on Monday Nitro to win the title. That was one of the few moments that have actually ever sent me leaping out of my seat. A few others that standout: [/ QUOTE ] I thought this was horribly executed. WCW went for a quick ratings boost instead of a solid long term plan by having Goldberg win the title so quickly. What they should've done is had Goldberg beat Hogan in a non title match(or pin him in a tag match). Then have them face at a few PPVs where Hogan keeps running away(getting DQed/counted out etc.). Then finally have the big payoff at Starcade. *106,010 and counting |

Re: Your all time favourite WWE/Pro Wrestling moment
[ QUOTE ]
--When Larry Zybisko turned heel, turning on his mentor, Bruno Sammartino, then later on his longtime tag partner, Tony Garrea. Guys didn't turn from face to heel much back then (nor heel to face, either), so that was unique. And Larry was the best I've ever seen on the mike. Better than Hogan, better than Piper. For a while there, we'd tune in each week, and spend the entire time looking forward to see what Larry Zybisko, "The New Living Legend", had to say. [/ QUOTE ] Really? I'm probably much younger than you, and I only remember him as an announcer, but he just seemed annoying to me always. 106,008 and counting |

[ QUOTE ] PS, I also miss Steve Blackman. Too bad he had zero charisma. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah. For some reason I was always a fan of this guy. He had a nice little run as hardcore champion and a good feud with Shane McMachon but otherwise he never really made it. [/ QUOTE ]I met him at a restaurant during a friend's birthday when I was younger. |
