Little secret: if you want to return something from Dell - make up an unfixable problem - like noisy fan. Otherwise they ass-rape you. Luckily this thing actually does have a rattling fan. But I think I could have faked my way through the process if necessary.

hey suzzer, i've been watching the KU game and i'm loving it. i live in wichita and am a massive jayhawk fan. where are you from?

Kansas City. I grew up in Overland Park, then moved to Blue Springs before high school. I graduated from HS in 87. One of my biggest sports regrets is that me and my buddy were bumming a ride back up to college in Kirksville DURING the 88 NCAA final. Doofus kid who was giving us a ride wasn't even a sports fan. We spent the whole 2nd half searching and constantly switching sketchy AM stations to listen to the game. Still it was awesome.

Although I have to tell you. I generally root for MU over KU. But I'd take KU over K-State. MU-KU game this year is going to be gigantic. I honestly can't remember the last time that game had the potential to be so big.

[/ QUOTE ]thanx for the info. i'm in kc all the time for family and friends. lived in wichita all my life, graduated in '94. i root for all the kansas teams pretty equally: KU, KSU, WSU. amazing to think that KU is playing meaningful football this time of year. i still remember the '88 championship like it was yesterday. been knocking on the door so many times since then but just can't get it done. oh well, maybe this year.
