3-way 3-bet pot with QQ OOP
Button is about 33/5/0.4 over 55 hands. He hasn't been at the table too long, and some of those hands are from a previous session. He hasn't done anything too unusual this session. He starts the hand with ~$340.
BB is new to me this session, is running at something like 40/30/2 after 44 hands. Again, nothing unusual from him. He starts the hand with ~$650. Hero is playing around 23/18/4 over the session. I don't think I've done anything out of line since the villains arrived. I cover both. Table is 4 handed. Button $330 Hero (SB) covers BB $650 Hero posts SB of $3 BB posts BB o $6 UTG folds, button opens to $15, Hero makes it $52, BB cold calls, button (insta) calls. Flop T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (POT: $156) Hero tanks for a bit then checks, BB checks, Button pushes all in for ~$280, Hero? Thoughts on all streets appreciated... |

Bet the flop, and you won't be in this ridiculously awkward spot.

Push, but you're supposed to bet that flop.

Re: 3-way 3-bet pot with QQ OOP
I think you guys are probably right but, just out of interest, what kind of hand ranges are you giving these guys after pf? and what part(s) of those ranges do you expect to get value from by leading the flop?

Re: 3-way 3-bet pot with QQ OOP
You're actually protecting your hand against two players with a very wide range.
A button raise with the bb tagging along suddenly his A9s-ATs-AJ became playable (he does play 33/5). The bb is brain dead and could have any 2 overs or middle pair. Your hand is good, this is 6 max and button-blind play. Don't second guess yourself in this hand vs these opponents. |
