Default AQs turn decision

villain is kind of unknown, played w/ him for a few orbits. nothing has really stood out yet.

10 handed - 20/40 online

anyway, he opens in mp1, folded to me and I 3bet A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] from the BB , villain calls.

flop - 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet, villain calls.

turn - 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet, villain raises, I 3bet...

someone says I'm a lag. please prove him wrong for me.

mid/small pps he was free sd raising, there are definitely some other single pair hands he could be playing like this than can't call the turn and river bet UI. plus I have a ton of outs to fall back on.

hey Pink-

I figured others would have chimed in by now. anyways, I just dont see a PP you beat raising in EP then popping you on the turn here. of course, this guy could be a LAG but since we dont know that i prefer to not 3-bet despite the many outs.

I don't like it. Too many commonly played hands that open from middle position from the average player in that game have you behind if you spike an A or Q, although you do have 12 solid outs to kill a set if its out there. Even QTs is a possibility, so catching that top pair best kicker may not help you. You are out of position, your 3-bet should be for value or not at all. Even with 15 outs with your pair outs discounted its not worth it considering the pot size. If the order were reversed where he bet the turn and you raised with position I'd like it a lot.
