Villian in this hand is 17/8 over 450 hands, tight passive nit. Obv not looking to play for stacks here. Thoughts flop check? vb on river is thin but do you like?

I typically 1/2 pot flop.

Anyways, played well otherwise.

I still bet flop. He calls with over half the hands he plays, so we can safely include KQ and maybe KJs in there. I dunno if there's any value in river... maybe AJ, but I doubt it. Turn is fine.

Bet the flop.

If he has 66 you're not getting anything out of him anyway (unless he hits his 2-outer).

And pardon me but WTF are you doing on the river?

Is 1/2 pot your usual cbet? If you're going to bet, why not make it 2/3 or 3/4?

Do not used delayed cbets against passive players.

It accomplishes nothing. They're not aggressive so you're not going to induce bluffs. They are often only going to be playing their own hand meaning they check raise monsters, call decent hands, fold otherwise. Waiting til the turn doesn't change that plan at all, you just miss a street of value and give them a chance to suck out.

The best way to handle passive players is to wait until you run into a decent hand and then value town them. Checking this flop is bad. Betting the river is also bad. There's no value there.

it's not my usual c-bet. but given this player/board texture, i like betting 1/2 pot.
