Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1week
What do u think the profit of an above average player would be playing 1/3 no limit in a one week span. The game is a 100 dollar max buy in and chips fly like crazy in this game.

on a solid bankroll (25+ buyins) I expect that strong adaptable players could top out at 5K or more in the game you describe, possibly much more if the live ones have a lot of disposable income. At least average $2500/wk.

Re: Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1
What do you mean? Could? On average? Above average is everyone..because everyone thinks they are at least above average if not great.lol
I will throw this out, not as a brag (or otherwise) but to give you what I know is possible. I was playing a homegame in my area for a month str8. 1-2 PL HE with $100 min-max buyin. Played 4 days a week, average about 7hours a session. Made $17,260 in 4 weeks. So, 17,260/4=$4315 a week. Not to bad considering your only risking $100 a session if you don't rebuy at all before you go stacked. Not to say this is a high or low number, just one I have achieved in the lower limits. |

Re: Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1
A very good player would be able to make about 4 Big Blinds per hour for forty hours.
12x40= 480. I can honestly say that I used to play in 1/3 game at 4 Big Blinds per hour. A typical winner probably makes 2 or 3. At 3 big blinds per hour: 320 At 2 big blinds per hour: 240 I give the total over/under at about 300/ week at a 40 to 50 hour week. |

Re: Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1
No, I do not over-estimate (that was a joke, right?). It doesn't matter how good you are, your edge is capped at 60%.
The best day a SOLID player can have is about 700. Remember that you are only seeing about 2 or 3 showdowns an hour and you are losing about 45% of the time, this includes the suckouts, the flush over flushes and full houses vs full houses that you are losing all of your stack to. I used to beat this for 4 big blinds/ hour and I can assure you that these facts are true. And as far as I was able to tell, only one other player was doing better than me at this game, but not more than 1 BB. Honestly, if you are really beating this game for 15 bb/ hr (approx 60 BB/100), please post a graph. |
