I must object to that. It is very hard to object to a 'sigh'. But the statement you refer to is mine, and reads:

"While lacking proof, his actions are completely consistent with being guilty."

It refers to Mark Seif and his alleged cheating. We do not have proof that he cheated, do we? His actions are consistent with being guilty of cheating, right?

Thus, I might agree that the statement is idiotic in some way, but it is both non-trivial and true, as I am sure you would agree. Hopefully, this is even more clear if the sentence is read not in pure isolation, but in context.

It is clear as the sky is blue that Seif is acting inconsistent with how one might reasonably expect a innocent party to act. And for a very good reason, in the interview today he was speaking as an agent of Absolute. In other words, he is trumpeting the "party line" -- there was only one bad apple, AJ Green.

The term "circling the wagons" is more than apropos in this instance.

Any person with true personal integrity would not act like Mark Seif the moron.

He cast his lot with folks exposed as cheats and frauds.

The "right thing" for a person in his position to do is vigorously seek justice for those his company cheated and justice for those who cheated.

Clean house. Name names. Identify the guilty. Seek proof of their guilt.

The "wrong thing" to do is deny that the POTRIPPER tournament was straight up rigged.
