Default Golden Riviera Poker Giving Me A Hard Time

I signed up there around a week ago for 50 to get the 100% match bonus, did it, emailed them, got the bonus and then did a cash out.

I waited like 3 days and then emailed them when the money never showed up in neteller. And I got this reply.

"Dear Robin,

Thank you for your support at Golden Riviera Poker.

Once a player requests a withdrawal, the Withdrawals Manager receives the
withdrawal request.

He will then process the withdrawal and check that the wagering requirements
are met. If this is the case you, will be contacted via e-mail to request the
following standard documents as a security procedure. You may have however
forwarded these to us already.

The documents needed to complete the processing of your withdrawal are:

1. Copy of picture ID or drivers license
2. Copy of any recent utility bill/ telephone bill in your name.
3. Front and back of Credit Card used for deposits
4. Cash Authorization Documents
5. Preferred Payment Method"

and some more in the email but that is the heart of it. I've played at alot of sites and made withdraws from them but this is the first time I've gotten a line of [censored] I have to do to withdraw. Does this happen to everyone or was I given the shaft because I requested a cashout after playing exactly 250 raked hands. It seems I have to give them a bunch of crap to prove my identity, which is stupid if Im sending the money back to neteller, and I have no idea what a cash authorization method is.

Im dissapointed that bonuswhores made no mention of this in their recommendation that you go here.

Default Update

I decided to call them to see if I could use the arguments of 1. Im withdrawing 98 dollars and 2. Everything is being done through neteller to get them to not make me go through a long pointless process of faxing personal documents.

The guy on the phone said that the cashout manager or whoever just hasnt gone over my request yet and by his tone I could tell that they should have by now. At this time I realized that I probably havent been flag'ed to get [censored] with but they punk you out with threats in the return automated email when you send something with cashout in the title.

The guy said once the withdraw manager people see my request and go over it (not) most of the time they will ask me to provide documentation blah blah. So he said he would send them some message or something to go over my request in the next 24 hours and then I would "probably" get a return email before it went through.

Him doing this is probably going to flag my account to get [censored] so now Im just hoping it doesnt, they are slow or skipped over my request, and it'll just show up in neteller tommarow. Wish me luck.

I didn't have a problem. There was some talk that a lot of prima sites flag withdrawals over $500. Don't know why they would get so uptight about a $98 cashout. Maybe they do ID checks on random withdrawals.

There's not a lot of point getting too upset about it, I suspect that most sites have something buried in the T&Cs that they reserve the right to confirm the identity of their players.

For what it's worth, I always put in $100 more than the bonus requires, then withdraw about 2/3 of my money when I finish the bonus. After a week I take out what's left. Like I said, I've never had a problem - but maybe I've just been lucky.

Took me about 2 weeks to get my money off them ($90). Eventually got it but only after I emailed them (after they ignored 5 emails) saying I would contact VISA regarding getting my money refunded. That seemed to do the trick. I would not have bothered with the bonus if I had known what they were like.

Well it actually worked out. Tonight in my neteller is the money. So I didnt get [censored], they just probably skipped over my withdrawl somehow and I had to make a phone call to remind them to give me the damn money. Kind of a pain but oh well.

I hope you will never play that site again. What a pain in the ass that must have been. Too many choices on the web for our money.
