Re: 25NL: Such a good place to bluff, I feel compelled to call
Why are you not betting the turn? Checking turn and calling the riverbet when the spade completes the flushdraw, and the turn has already completed a straightdraw is horrible.. The second villain checks the turn, we know he is on a draw. Make him pay for it. Paying him off on the river after giving him a free card is not something you should do.

call/bet river. [/ QUOTE ] You are obviously fond of paying off draws when completed. |

River call is bad. Gotta bet that turn and if he calls or raises shut down.

Re: 25NL: Such a good place to bluff, I feel compelled to call
Granted, I should have put a 3.75 bet in on the turn.
But as played, you don't think river bet is a complete bluff enough to call? How can the call be horrible when it only needs to be good 22% to break even? Isn't he looking at that board and saying, 'he's got nothing, the board is scary, I'll take it.' more than that? |
