I did end up winning this one.

??? You included results and villain had QJ and rivered the straight. There is actually some good discussion in this thread, but you should not include results - in spots like this it just makes me think that you're complaining about a bad beat as much as you're looking for strategy advice.

I won the SNG.

Sorry, I always forget about that "results" rule.

I watch everyone else play for like 50 hands and I fold fold fold.

I could fold all day long preflop. It's just after, when I'm repeatedly raised and re-raised and I start feeling like there's a target on me. That's when I get tired of folding.

Fold this as many have said, and yes I get tired of folding right before I start FPSing and losing money.

Isn't there a pill for fps that's available over the counter?

Yes, you sometimes get tagged as a folder. Bluff more when you feel you have that image.

He most likely has an ace and you're chopping. He could also have two hearts and you're flipping. But this is a $5, so he could just as likely have a ten and you're crushed. Or, obviously, he could have QJ and be hoping you'll fold, but if you don't he still has a gutshot, which is plenty good for the average donk. Or, he could have squat and hoping you'll fold because there's an ace on the flop--it's a $5, remember? Or he has JJ-KK, he's furious there's an ace on the flop, so he spite pushes.

None of this really matters, however, because you only have t90 invested, so why in the world do you want to go to war with a weak hand against an idiot, or someone who already has you beat?

I am never taking a word of advice from someone who thinks two hearts are flipping with me on that flop. Only if he also has a straight draw, dude.

And you've exactly explained why we should call! You give a range that we beat comfortably (everything you mentioned bar the Ts, which are going to be a very small part of his range), and then say fold. What you have invested is immaterial. If I somehow knew villain would *only* do this with a T, but I had raised 200 pre, I would fold easily.

It's ridiculous that later in the tourney, you'd advise him shoving more or less the same stack with a very small edge, but here, where his edge is bigger, you want him to fold. The later shove is worth more in $$$, but I doubt it's worth *so much more* that you should pass on good edges early.

I have to admit that phrase had me googling.
I haven't been around here long and I was wondering if FPSing was anything like PMSing.

Another thing I considered was our stack sizes and having a chance to take him out right there and get to heads up.
