Buying a new desktop set-up for poker and noticed Dell's $350 coupon on Inspirons over $1000, so I thought I'd give it a shot. PC will mainly be used for full time 12 tabling on Stars. I'm planning to buy the Samsung 245BW, 24" widescreen LCD monitor as well (is this PC okay to run that monitor?). I'm used to 12 tabling on a 15.1" laptop, so I figure one 24" monitor will be fine for now. I plan to play about 150k hands per month and run Pokertracker, PAHUD, and a couple of AHK scripts while I play. Let me know if the specs look okay. I've been running Avast anti-virus on my laptop and it's fine...can't decide if I need to get McAfee or just stick with Avast. Thanks.

No sure what your paying for that, but take a look at my thread with specs.
I "think" its a better deal and you can get it with a 22in monitor for about $1150. |
