bet like 400 on flop... 275 looks ultra-weak.

c-beting in this spot is pretty tough vs a late position (non blind) caller. he either has a pair and will never fold or overcards which he may push. so i don't mind a check/fold.

i like c-betting a lot better vs the bb who can call your preflop raise with all sorts of junk and will happily fold his wiffed flops.

Hero's remaining stack is t1130.
Isn't c/f better, because of this?

With that stack I push this pf.

As played there is no room for c-betting with the intention of folding and the flop is not particularly good for us. c/f

Pushing with 7 players behind and ~14BB?

Interesting... and you are right according to SNGPT:

Villains on call range 88+, AQ+
and the BB on call range 22+,A2s+,A3o+,KTs+,KJo+,QJs

gives:

+0,1%EV

Push hands: 99+,AQ+ (5.1%)

If the BB calls ATC, then it is Breakeven.

pushing pf is ok sometimes, just dont get into the habit of always open jamming 14BB. As played id want to be pretty damn sure hes usually folding to a cbet in this spot, id probably just c/f as played.

also remember, open jamming deep can induce some much looser/bad calls at this level. It's is a good move to have in your arsenal.
