Because look at the texture of the board? He will get more value from a lot of hands in your range by checking flop and betting turn and river. If the board is Q97 I'm pretty sure he's not checking flop.

yea, I realize that. and I'm not really arguing about how he played since I'd prob play it the same. but if he's smart enough to play it this way then it means he should play other hands in a similar fashion - good toppairs on non threatening boards.

like say a similar situation comes up. he raises pf, i call in the bb. flop is relatively the same like K33 and he bets instead. isnt it more likely he's betting air?

i hate being behind regs in terms of moving up (played with all of them at 25nl,50nl,100nl starting in august). Some noticeable ones are like gee unit, colonel mustard, jpanzstyle (something like that), surreality, and there all at 1/2 (maybe 2/4) now. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] how many hands do u guys play per level.
