ABIT IP35-E Intel E6750 Crucial Ballistix 4X1GB EVGA 8600GT Antec Nine Hundred Case Corsair 520HX Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme w/ Scythe S-Flex 1600 Also, any comments on difficulty of putting this together? [/ QUOTE ] This setup doesn't really look half bad, although the case is better than you need. You could go for another Antec case from their "B stock" page here. I highly recommend the SLK3700BQE at the bottom of the page, and I think the PSU that comes with it might even be enough for this PC (and Antec's PSU's are decent). THat could save you enough to go get something better, in your case I'd want a more robusto motherboard. Gigabyte has a great P35 board here , and it's not much more that what you picked. |

Re: Best ways to improve this computer
Also, as far as the memory, you don't need even Crucial Ballistix. You can get 4 gigs of memory like this and be fine for about $125 total. You're not overclocking anything I assume, and so you won't see a noticable performance decrease.
