Default 400NL 4betting into bizarro world

Villain is a LAG, probably overaggro and bad but I dont know that for sure he is new to me. Definataly 3betting and squezing all over the table. 30/26/5 over 1500 hands wtsd 25
I was definately calling a push but his flatcall surprised me. On the flop I cant call a bet I think so should I bluff myself?

maybe I'm a lagtard but wouldn't you expect him to cc jj-kk here preflop way more often than AK? I don't see how he has an ace here, and if he doesn't he can't continue.

Hm, really weird spot. But I agree w/ mythrilfox, bet like $165 on flop and fold to a shove.

Do you guys like betting 1/2 pot rather than to push right away?

I don't see how we can bet/fold 165 when we're only going to have like $100 left after we bet. I'd probably just open shove the flop and hope for the best. It's very difficult for him to have an A given the preflop action (I'd expect him to push or fold decent aces), and there's at least some chance we can get him to fold KK/QQ, because from his perspective our 4 betting range should consist of a lot of Ax type hands, and he probably doesn't expect us to turn mid/high pairs into bluffs here.

I agree he does not have an A here so often but what hands are we bluffing against? QQ? KK? I can see bet folding here, since he basically never will bluff and would have open pushed x [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] x [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

But why not let him bluff the rest to us when we check?

We can bet/fold b/c a bet of $165 do the same job as a shove, no? And if he folds JJ+ and only calls w/ AK (I took only AK of the AX hands into his HD b/c he shouldn't have them very often) and AA this bet is profitable and it isn't profitable to shove.

Eh? Why can't you see bet/folding as an option if he never shove worse than A?

If he has AK, AA or KK, he's never folding. Just read he's 30/25 so I prolly push in that situation. If he's like a 19/16 tag, I prolly just c/f.
