Re: PokerTracker: The Next Generation (NEW SOFTWARE DISCUSSION)
Something that currently is prohibitively difficult for me with PT2:
I'd like to be able to import into the same database at the same time from two different computers. Right now I have like 6 different databases depending on which site I'm datamining and which computer I'm mining on - I'd really, really, really like to just have one "play" database and one "mining" database, and make everything play nicely with each other (through some external synchronization mechanism I guess) if I want to run a lot of different combinations of site+computer imports at once. Also, if I mine on one computer while playing on another and hands I play get into the mined database, then as far as I can tell PA HUD will currently double-count the hand. It would be nice for PA HUD to either have some mechanism through which it can recognize duplicate hands and ignore them, or else be able to specify something like "ignore player goofyballer when importing into this db." |

Re: PokerTracker: The Next Generation (NEW SOFTWARE DISCUSSION)
Have you implemented a way to see how many hands are in an observed database, and a log of when they were recorded making it easier to trim a database down accurately? If not I'll suggest it again only in weekly lots or similar would be fine.
The graph looks great, would be cool if you could click between any of the sections on either axis and then be taken to a graph for that period (pretty lavish I know). |

Re: PokerTracker: The Next Generation (NEW SOFTWARE DISCUSSION)
Sry if this was already mentioned but the thread is just too long.
I would love the possibility to generate a HH out of the replayer and save it to predefined folder! I use the replayer to review my play and this would help me a lot in case I want to post a specific hand in a forum!!! This would be so sweet and I def. would by your software b/c of this feature!!! |

Re: PokerTracker: The Next Generation (NEW SOFTWARE DISCUSSION)
Screenshots! More than just graphs, too!
I've decided it's time to show some of what we have to you guys. First up, notice that we kept the player list on the left. The player selected from the list is the filter for the stats showing on the right. We added a "Hide" feature that will allow you to remove the list of players, thus giving you more room for the main statistics. Take notice of the 3 Betting and Aggression Frequency stats. The Hands tab is where you can view your starting hands statistics as well as your final hands statistics. This is my favorite feature. Viewing sessions by time. This report shows your sessions as the time you were playing, regardless of how many tables you had open. It's a more accurate view of your sessions. You can still see sessions in the traditional sense of one per table by selecting it from the dropdown box. Notice also the graph of the currently selected session. You can expand the graph to view a larger and more detailed version. Here are the winning details. This tab isn't finished, so right now it only shows winnings by month. Obviously these aren't all the features, but we don't want to give too much away. This should give you a good idea of the look and feel of PT3. Everything you see is easy to customize (you can choose what columns appear in each report) and easy for us to maintain and update. The reporting system is extremely easy to use. Here's an example from the General Tab: <font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre> <report id="Holdem-Cash-General-Player-Statistics-Main" name="Player Statistics"> <display game="Holdem" group="Player" hassummary="true"> <column value="Limit"/> <column value="Hands"/> <column value="VP$IP"/> <column value="VP$IP SB"/> <column value="Won $ WSF"/> <column value="WTSD"/> <column value="W$SD"/> <column value="PFR"/> <column value="3Bet Preflop"/> <column value="3Bet Flop"/> <column value="3Bet Turn"/> <column value="3Bet River"/> <column value="3Bet Total"/> <column value="Att To Steal"/> <column value="Preflop AF"/> <column value="Flop AF"/> <column value="Turn AF"/> <column value="River AF"/> <column value="Total AF"/> <column value="Preflop AFq"/> <column value="Flop AFq"/> <column value="Turn AFq"/> <column value="River AFq"/> <column value="Total AFq"/> <column value="Fold SB to Steal"/> <column value="Fold BB to Steal"/> </display> </report> </pre><hr /> This format might change, but it should give you an idea. This particular version is the "basic" format. There's a more advanced (and thus more complicated) format as well that lets you do a lot of interesting things. Anyway, there's the update for now. We'll be giving more information regarding the private alpha testing soon. We're still on schedule for a early/mid November alpha and a late November/early December public beta. Please give your feedback regarding what you see here. We're anxious to hear what you think. |

Re: PokerTracker: The Next Generation (NEW SOFTWARE DISCUSSION)
FIRST OMG!!!!
Can i put these pics on my site? Can we display results by how many tables we had, so like do i suck playing 10 tables vs 4x or am i actually doing better when i 10x table(HOurly/winrate). Looking good, i guess we'll get all the features we want after we bug you for updates anyhow Whats the release date expected to be now? i think you need to unleash the PT3 website with a decent FAQ to save you time/show everyone the product. |

Re: PokerTracker: The Next Generation (NEW SOFTWARE DISCUSSION)
It would be nice if I could also customize not only which colums to appear in a field, but also how big that field is getting. I.e. in the "Player Summary" field, if I'm playing 20 different limits and don't want to browse down, I would like to be able to expand that field at the expense of the "player Statistics" field.
